Vancouver Island Symphony Foundation

Why Donate to a Foundation?

The Vancouver Island Symphony Foundation (VISF) is a public foundation dedicated to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Vancouver Island Symphony by creating, maintaining and implementing a short and long-term, financial development strategy. It is a separate charity from the Vancouver Island Symphony and is run by an independent board of directors.  The VIS Foundation invests the donations it receives and only uses the interest to support the Symphony’s interests, when approved by its Board of Directors.

How can you Support the VISF?

Leave a legacy. Supporters wishing to make a long-term impact on music in our community may wish to donate funds for investment. Legacy Gifts may include:

  • A bequest in your will
  • An insurance policy with the VISF as beneficiary or policy owner
  • A charitable gift annuity
  • A charitable remainder trust
  • Gifts of Securities
  • Gifts of real estate
  • A cash donation

Every donation, big or small is so important to the longevity of the Vancouver Island Symphony.
