VIS Woodwind Quartet

The VIS is delighted to present a woodwind quintet for the first time in our Summer Pop Up Concerts! Sweet melodies for a casual summer concert by Mexican, Cuban, and Afro-American composers, while exploring the modern “classical” wind quintet, from its European roots to include ethnic, folk, jazz, rhythmic and dance elements, will transport listeners on a musical journey through different cultures and traditions, all while showcasing the versatility and virtuosity of the VIS musicians.

Musicians: Emily Nagelbach, Flute; Geronimo Mendoza, Oboe; Christopher Lee, Clarinet; Olivia Martin, Bassoon; Heather Walker, Horn.
