Help Us Keep the Symphony Experience FREE for kids.

Do you remember the first time you heard a live symphony play? Seeing or listening to a live professional musician can be inspirational and ignite a life-long relationship with music.

For 20 years, the Vancouver Island Symphony has hosted every student in Gr. 4 in the district at the concert hall to see our orchestra perform a program designed specifically for 9- and 10-year-olds. For many children, this concert is their first experience seeing and hearing a live symphony orchestra.

Help us support the creation and production of our next education concert “Puck and Nature’s Orchestra” written by Assistant Principal Cellist, Alexandra Lee, and arranged by Scott MacInnes.

This concert premieres in January 2027.

Donations can be allocated to a fund of your choice: General Operations, Choir, Music Education Programs or New Music Commissions. The Vancouver Island Symphony is a registered charity (#11905 0813 RR0001) and will issue a tax receipt for donations of $20 or more.
